About Us
Our Story
Mavis Krah, the registered manager at Prestige Care Solutions is a Registered Adult Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional care to individuals both in their own homes and in clinical settings.
Having worked as a community healthcare worker, she trained to become a social worker, a role she enjoyed very much. However, she gravitated toward nursing and trained to become a nurse due to her natural passion for hands-on care.
Mavis is particularly interested in caring for adults in their own homes because she believes they will benefit from her wealth of experience and knowledge which can sometimes be lacking from homecare providers whose knowledge is limited to mandatory training for personal care. For this reason, Mavis decided not to be part of any franchise so as not to limit what she can offer her clients and to ensure service users are able to benefit from her extensive experience and skills.
Through her experience in healthcare, Mavis identified a need for a more evidence-based and personalised approach to care services as she observed a deficiency in quality personalised care at home for those who needed it most. Additionally, Mavis recognised the escalating demand for qualified healthcare professionals, coupled with the staffing challenges in the sector.
Motivated by the belief that individuals are better off receiving non-clinical care at their own homes rather than staying in hospitals which often results in bed blocking, Mavis resolved to establish her own home care business to help address these issues.
Since 2022, Mavis has brought together professionals from health and social care, to solve the challenges of adult healthcare in our communities.
With our knowledge and experience, we believe we are best placed to provide you and your family with safe, quality, compassionate, dignified care personalised to your needs at your own home.

We achieve this by involving the service user and their social circles as well as professionals involved in their care in our service delivery.
- Community: As a small community business, we are always looking for ways to give back to our community including supporting local charities, giving priority of employment to local residents and offering work experience to the youth in our community to mentor and inspire them to pursue careers in the healthcare.
